Today we drove Iris and Joe to the airport. They're going to Iris' cousin's gradaughter's bat mitzvah. My mom happened to call my cell on the way. Iris wanted to talk to her and the first thing she said was something like, "Having the girls here just lights up our lives".
Then they chatted some more, told each other they loved each other and hung up.
How lucky are we?
